AbstractD: uringa 3-yeasr tudyt,h en umbeor f emergepdl antsa ndg eneratill lering of winter wheat (Jugoslavija and Rana niska), its cultivation in 5 densities and two fertilizations with nitrogen, were studied. Three-factorial experiment of a random block design with three replications, was arranged. The number of emerged plants was under a great influence of various conditions for germination and emergence all year round, with remarkable differences found between the varieties studied. General tillering depended on nitrogen fertilization to a great extent, particularly in the first year with Jugoslavija and in the third year with both varieties. With increase in seeding density, a number of shoots were formed with highly significant differences found between the densities.
