Biochemical reactions of some fungi in presence of detergent investigated "in vitro"

In this paper, the investigation results on the influence of unionic detergent and its components, sodium tripolyphosphate and etoxylized oleyl-cetyl alcohole, on metabolic reactions of the fungi Trichoderna Jongibrachiatum, Doratomyces stemonitis and joined cultures of the T. longibrachiatum and D.stemonitis, are presented.
Detergent and its component, added to microbial base in the amount of 0.5%, produced different effects, depending on the chemical structure of substrate, the type of fungi and duration of the vegetative period.
The activity of proteolytic enzymes differed, varying from strong inhibition to equally expressed stimulation of their reactions. Production of aminoacids is also dependent on the type of fungi, the chemical structure of substrate and duration of the vegetative period. Significant productional increase was registered in case of the joined cultures, in the presence of 0.5% oleyl-cetyl alcohole etoxylate, in the second half of the vegetative period.
Both investigated cultures are capable of incorporating detergent in their biochemical reactions. After the 14 day development, Trichoderma longibrachiatum degraded 84%, Doratomyces stemonitis 62% of present detergent.
